Our purpose
EmpowerHer Transition Home exists to give women a safe, stable place to rebuild their lives with dignity and support. Its purpose is to provide trauma-responsive structure, practical skills, and emotional guidance so women can move toward independence with confidence. At its core, EmpowerHer is a community that believes in women’s potential and walks with them as they create a new beginning.
Who we help
EmpowerHer Transition Home supports women who are rebuilding their lives after incarceration, treatment, homelessness, or unsafe situations. We welcome mothers working toward reunification, women in recovery, and anyone seeking stability, safety, and a fresh start.

Step 1: Reach out for a conversation

Step 2: Application and coordination
If EmpowerHer is a good fit, we’ll help you complete a short application, coordinate with any caseworkers or providers, and plan your move-in date. Our team of licensed social workers and peer supports will guide you every step of the way.
Step 3: Welcome home
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a safe, supportive home and guided through a gentle orientation to help you settle in. We look forward to welcoming you into our community in Salt Lake County, Utah
